Glasgow School of Art enters Phase 2 of its Mackintosh Building restoration

More than 5,500 tons of fire-damaged material was removed from the site, and a thorough evaluation of the building was undertaken. Shortly following a devastating fire that caused widespread damage to the historic structure in June of 2018, work began to dismantle parts of the building that were at risk of sudden collapse.

Spanish architecture practice Kauh has completed the renovation of La Hoya Park in the historical centre of Almerรญa, restoring a series of stepped, dry stone terraces on the site of a 13th-century town. For the planting, protected species found on the site were maintained and accompanied by new fruit and mulberry trees.
