Tolila+Gilliland uses raw, tactile materials for therapeutic workshops in France

Architecture studio Tolila+Gilliland used a palette of tactile materials to "engage the senses" at the Gilbert Raby Therapeutic Workshops in France. Located on the Gilbert Raby hospital campus in Meulan-en-Yvelines, the building was created to provide day care and creative workshop spaces for patients recovering from addiction.

The bespoke solid oak 25x25 Workshop Kitchen is based on a simple grid system and named after the 25 by 25 milllimetre battens that comprise its structural frame.
