This recently completed project located in the London Borough of Kingston Upon Thames is spread between two semi-detached Victorian properties which both sought to extend their roof spaces. The new dormer, though long, reads as four small dormers; this was carefully designed to reduce visual impact.

The tower's rational form contains office, auditorium, and tenant amenity space, including the Doosan History Museum and a café that opens up to the landscaped roof terrace. The stacked, interconnected masses create a grand portal which becomes an identifiable visual marker from the adjacent Gyeongbu Expressway.

Infrastructure consultants AECOM and Spanish architecture studio Luis Vidal + Architects have created a terminal for Boston 's Logan Airport capped by a long, bright-red roof. On the opposite side, where the gates are, the face of the structure is mostly glass. Its corners taper to sharp edges that "cut through the sky with precision".
