In the spring of 2023 the board of the Preservation Trades Network toured the house when we were in Frederick to plan the 2023 International Preservation Trades Workshops. The exterior sides of the stone foundation walls could have been irregular, sloping away from the house below grade, only becoming straight once they were above grade.
