West Side Condo Tower Resizes, Buys Time

We’ve been talking about building proposals for 1050 West Van Buren Street for a presidency and a half. Now the current proposal for this parcel has been tweaked. Again. If you’ve forgotten where 1050 is after all this time, it’s on the Near West Side, just east of Target, and just north of I-290. Or as Google Maps sometimes calls it for no apparent reason, “Illinois 110/The Kansas City-Chicago Expressway.” Locations of 1050 and 1125 West Van Buren (via Apple Maps).
