I always knew I would someday have my own firm. I’m a born entrepreneur… quite literally. Dad’s a retired auto mechanic and he taught me entrepreneurism early. As a child, I watched how he bought old Corvettes and flipped them for a profit. When I was 13, I started doing the same. With savings from working summers at the shop, I purchased a navy blue 1972 Camaro for $1200, brought it home, cleaned it up, applied a fresh coat of wax and sold it for $2400.

LEED v4 gets green light, will launch this fall

'The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) announced today that its membership has voted to adopt LEED v4, the next update to the world’s premier green building rating system. The final overall vote was 86 percent in favor of adopting LEED v4. This includes 90 percent approval from the user category of the voting body, 77 percent approval from the general interest category and 89 percent approval from the producer category. read more.

LEGOLAND builds 12-foot replica of One World Trade Center
