Located at 110 Broadway in Denver, is the historic Mayan Theatre. The theatre was built in 1930. It was nearly lost to the wrecking ball in the 1980s, but a grass-roots group, “Friends of the Mayan” helped to ensure the theater was preserved. The building underwent restoration in 1986. Today the Mayan Theater contains three screens and focuses on showcasing independent films.

At 527.7 meters in height, the 108-story Citic Tower office building in Beijing tops the list of 143 tall buildings (200 meters or greater in height) that were completed in 2018.
