Lina Ghotmeh ’s design for the official National Pavilion of the Kingdom of Bahrain for Expo 2025 Osaka has been revealed along with details of what she calls a “celebration of the bilateral relations” between the Gulf state and Expo’s host nation. The old ACV-CSC-METEA campus at Sint Pietersstation in Ghent stretched between Koning Boudewijnstraat and Koning Albertlaan consisted of a sequence of several buildings (with two facades and two views) on the street, and three smaller buildings in the courtyard. The existing buildings hardly interacted with their surroundings. The whole did not show its semi-public programme to the neighbourhood in any way.
