The Banyan House is a 3 bed/bath 1,574-square-foot A-frame design infused with desert masonry inspiration. Its Frank Lloyd Wright -designed neighbor in the Northern California literary haunt, the Mrs. Clinton Walker House from 1952, sold in early 2023 for $22 million.

An extension entirely clad in rust-coloured Corten steel has been added to a 1950s terraced house in south London by architecture practice Studio on the Rye.
