The Judd Foundation has announced progress on restoring Donald Judd 's fire-damaged Architecture Office project in Marfa, Texas: The restoration will now make the building ready for public use by September 20, 2025. The economic core of the complex around the former Meierhof of Winklberg Castle in Mitterstockstall am Wagram from the 19th century is the Clemens Strobl wine manufactory, which combines a wine cellar with original vaults, a new tasting room with kitchen and the office premises. This facility is composed of two elongated gabled houses that meet at an obtuse angle - one original and elaborately restored and gutted, and the second as a successor building to a barn that could no longer be "saved".

The clients deliberately chose their vacation home not far from the historic town center so that they could experience the local culture and take part in local events. The narrow turn-of-the-century sandstone building documents the old inheritance laws on Menorca, in which the property in the densely built-up ensemble of houses was repeatedly divided and thus increasingly built upwards and downwards.

Sustainability begins with a conversation, and acquiring customer buy-in is entirely dependent on how the conversation is framed. Clients may not see sustainability as a priority out of fear of operational costs and quality.
