Harriet Pattison, a noted American landscape architect who worked closely with her romantic partner Louis Kahn , passed away in Philadelphia last week, according to their son, filmmaker Nathaniel Kahn. Dual Roof Extension in Kingston by Square One Architects

The existing library consists of a large information desk and a bookshelf. It was a more concentrated space for storing books than for users to stay. First of all, the size and arrangement of the information desk were adjusted to secure a reading space and allow various types of reading activities to take place. The information desk in the middle of the library was moved to the wall near the entrance so that loans and returns can be made conveniently.
