Büro Ole Scheeren has announced the completion of their latest high-rise design in Shanghai, called The Axiom. The 918-foot, 49-story tower is the first of two that will eventually form the heart of a mixed-use corporate campus known as The Springs on a central site in the Yangpu district for developer Tishman Speyer. The design is punctuated midway by a striking offset structural core, which, according to the firm, is unique to just 3% of the 500 tallest buildings in the world.

New construction photographs published by Snøhetta via social media show substantial progress on the El Paso Children's Museum, designed with Exigo Architecture. We first reported on the scheme in 2018 when Snøhetta won the competition for the project. In 2020, the firm unveiled a completed design for the 70,000-square-foot museum, which will sit in El Paso's Downtown Arts district.

Situated at the base of the Holmenkollen ski jump , the extension has been built in celebration of the museum's 100th anniversary. A long geometric form defines the Vipp Cold Hawaii guesthouse , which architecture studio Hahn Lavsen has designed to stand out in the dunes surrounding Thy National Park in Denmark. Designed for homeware brand Vipp , the guesthouse is topped with a steeply pitched roof and is intended to resemble traditional fishermen's cottages nearby.
