The White House’s Advisory Council on Historic Preservation (ACHP) has proposed its first Draft Program Comment aimed at providing federal agencies with alternatives to complying with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act. Henning Larsen has won an international competition to deliver a new green corridor design to Singapore in collaboration with Ramboll , Cistri, Gehl , Participate in Design, and Camphora. According to their announcement page , the North-South Corridor project includes four key sections, among them a 6-kilometer (3.7-mile) Community-Industrial segment; 7km (4.35mi) Ecological Loop; 5km (3.1mi) People’s Wellness Corridor; and a 3.5km (2.18mi) Cultural Heritage Segment.

Fábrica da Manteiga has preserved a strong pre-existing structure, reflecting the typical architecture of the region. Despite its advanced state of ruin, the original building has been maintained, with special care taken to rehabilitate its pathologies, structurally reinforce the walls, repair the roof, and ensure the necessary finishes.
