I originally was thinking I could accomplish most of what I wanted in Photoshop however I changed my mind and ended up modeling just about everything including the the ground plane textures and paving as well as trees and buildings. Plus, I like the visual contrast of the abstract diagrams next to the realistic illustrations of the site.

Once the different images are exported from SketchUp, the creator uses Illustrator to clean and detail the entire drawing and then Photoshop to enhance it, leading to a red-hued section that is rich in information and easy to interpret. Urban Blocks. An axonometric of an urban plan can be just as important as one showing a specific building.

Softwares like Illustrator and Photoshop have also made the task easier, especially when paired with 3D modeling applications and rendering assets. This is great for reconfiguring spaces in plan, experimenting with different elevation configurations, playing with section designs, and even diagramming. Photoshop * is another fundamental design tool that can be used to create collages and overlay images to develop compositions to portray your ideas. Try collaging!

Additional Textures Added Via Photoshop. Others came from manually photoshopping in dirt and grunge. The idea being that I wanted the highights on the section cut to read more strongly against the darker interior spaces. Next, I layered in materials and textures. Some of this came from the V-Ray base rendering with materials.

The photos can be retouched in lightroom however, photoshopping certain elements or lassoed graphics are not allowed. Try using comprehensive presentation techniques; use images, illustrations, sketches, views, diagrams, text, etc. A concept note about 500 words in the journal section. Both items are in sync with the theme of streets.
