Sketch with me in this video as I design custom details for the Outpost project. Inventing bespoke solutions to design challenges is the reason I love designing homes. And, quite often, if I'm stuck on a designbrief, I’ll zoom in and begin sketching a detail.
Architects, the name of the project is informed by its location, labelled as Toorak House 2. The designbrief evolved throughout the iterative process, through conversation and sketching. Conceived by Kerry Phelan of K.P.D.O
Dezeen School Shows: metaverse homes informed by Salvador Dalí 's surrealist paintings and are included in Dezeen's latest school show by students at AUD Center for Research, Innovation and Design. Also included are VR design projects exploring how users connect to their mind, body and senses. Tutor: Dr Georges Kachaamy.
We dreamt up several assignments for him - - make a model of a showroom; lesson in understanding drawings, scale, learning how to make things with his hands - review the brief of a food court and pose questions to the client and formulate a designbrief - measure our conference room, kitchen and translate the information into a series of drawings.
