Definitely private health care has an upside. Shopping lists, back napkin sketches. Diagrams upon diagrams. I had a skin cancer removed about a month ago. Local anaesthetic. In and out. Nice doctor as usual, I have become very fond of the American Hospital Dubai. Difficult to say. My "BIM pencil" is like that.

There was definitely a hammock being used … and not just by me. As we are talking, I would ask questions and draw diagrams right in front of the clients to make sure we were on the same page. What was pretty cool was that my pen started being passed around the table as everyone started to get in on the sketching action.

I like to draw with Revit which allows me to incorporate 3d and data into my sketch. I grew up with a pencil in my hand, I think in diagrams and patterns, relationships. So in a way, the sketching and note scribbling of my youth has coevolved with the digital era. Kind of multi-threaded collages with a BIM feel.
