I’ve sketched up a typical bedroom to help illustrate what I mean. In this sketch, I’ve rotated the bed 180° so that the head of the bed is opposite the entry and when the occupants are lying in bed, they have a clear view of the door. It’s disturbing and most people unknowingly try to avoid it.

Difficult to work the lighting, and to get a decent shot, but a great concept in the analog age. 60′ is definitely doable with timbers and will give a bit of option to the design. 1/4″ scale was the largest – some at 1/16″ (a theater complex with all 2500 seats and snap-together mezzanines out of Strathmore).
