Vinpearl Project is, first and foremost, a pure bamboo structures with a massive amount of bamboo, counting up to 42,000 bamboo culms.

A curving roof structure which follows the shape of the terraces covers the ensemble. On the southern part of the building, this structure supports solar panels, while on the north it is permeable, filtering sunlight but allowing rain to reach the terraces below. The roof structure and terraces aid in efficient natural ventilation.

BIG has adapted and extended one of the camp’s few remaining structures – a hospital building – into a 1,600 m2 museum. BIG has connected the two buildings architecturally and historically by adding a soft curve-shaped volume which brings 500 m2 of additional space to the museum and creates a welcoming structure, visible from afar.
