A much-needed restoration of the building's plinth will be enacted in addition to refurbished lobbies on both building levels One and Two, with a new foyer and musicians’ lounge/patrons' area added to the former. The expectation is for renovations to be complete by the end of 2028.

The restored interiors of the landmark Notre-Dame cathedral have been revealed, days ahead of its official reopening in Paris. While its restoration may be years off, the good news is that in October, leaders of the school agreed that “faithful reinstatement” would be the preferred strategy for rebuilding. Faithful reinstatement leans, as I understand it, more toward replication among the various synonyms for restoration.

Set to open in 2026, it will host 23 private condominiums and be part of a surrounding complex that includes a 1940s art deco hotel being restored by Jean-Michel Gathy. The building will be clad in terraces that wrap fully around each level and sit on a multi-level podium that is covered in greenery. It's slated for 2027 completion.
