Completed in 2014, Gehry’s landmark building is undoubtedly an architectural icon, but manages to retain a reference for both its site in the heart of Paris’s beloved park and for the city as a whole. I’ve sketched up a typical bedroom to help illustrate what I mean. In this sketch, I’ve rotated the bed 180° so that the head of the bed is opposite the entry and when the occupants are lying in bed, they have a clear view of the door. It’s disturbing and most people unknowingly try to avoid it.

( i like sketching, i dont like dealing with paints etc. too funny reading what had been important to me back then, with little diagrams explaining things too. Actually staying in that building for a few days added an entirely different sensory level to my knowledge.
