Most sole proprietors and small firms I know, struggle to meet the minimum requirements of operation. Since we launched our firm in 1999, most every prospective client I meet asks if Fivecat Studio offers construction services. So, in 2007 we stopped saying no and launched our Construction Management Services.

For me, like many, Gradient provided an introduction to the work Linden, Brown, which is the latest in a succession of award-winning local small firms founded by architects formerly with Portland’s Allied Works (including Waechter Architecture, Lever Architecture, and Beebe Skidmore). They took inspiration from the site itself.

Many years ago, before Annmarie and I started our residential architecture firm, I was a project manager with Kaeyer, Garment & Davidson Architects in Mt. My First Assignment.
