It was overseen by French architect Dominique Perrault who told Dezeen his ambition for the masterplan was to "build a district". Chatillon Architectes was commissioned for the renovation of Grand Nef de l’Île-des-Vannes in 2020.

British architect Diane Haigh dies aged 73
